featured destinations
contained in the guidebook are flat water. They all allow
kayaking and are accessible by two-wheel drive vehicles.
When planning a kayak
outing one of the biggest factors to take into consideration
is your safety and the safety of others who are dependent on
you. The best way to improve your safety on a kayak outing is
to stress personal responsibility, preparation, and sound
decision-making. The more prepared you are, the more likely
you will have a safe and enjoyable trip.
From experience, I have
found the unknown is only fearful because it’s unknown. In
most cases, once you have conquered your fears, you will find
there wasn’t anything to be afraid of at all.
Hopefully, this
guidebook will take away any of the concerns you have about
paddling unknown destinations. With all of the information
provided, you now have the opportunity to experience the
pleasure of paddling a wider variety of destinations in
California!.
