Kayaking California "The Glory of it all" - Slide Show - (Click)

Imagine being completely alone with the warm sunlight bathing your  head and a whisper of wind caressing  your  skin while paddling  on a  lake set against an exquisite  forest backdrop of tall pines and rugged snow-capped mountain peaks. A place so quiet the only sound is from the caw of a bird soaring overhead. Where the only traffic encountered is a  startled deer along the shore. Imagine no longer. There are dozens of these pristine lake locations to paddle throughout California.

As an avid kayaker, when I first began paddling different lakes throughout California, I recognized the need for a guidebook on flat water paddling destinations when I was unable to find sufficient information about them.

In the process of compiling maps, photographs, and camping information on the different lakes I paddled, I realized I had accumulated an enormous amount of valuable data that could be beneficial to other individuals who either didn't have the time to gather the information themselves, or who didn't want to blindly
venture to unfamiliar destinations.

Kayaking and canoeing can be the most emotionally and physically rewarding experience you'll ever have. It can provide a pleasant diversion and a great time away from life's day-to-day stress, whether you enjoy day tripping, extended weekend jaunts or expedition touring. If you have never tried paddling a serene remote lake before, you will be glad once you do. So pack up your gear, hit the road and drive to one of these premier paddling destinations this weekend!

Please refer to the tabs on the left to view a few page samples of lakes, contents, and indexes of each guidebook.  The guidebooks are available to purchase on Compact Disk, in Adobe Reader PDF format, by clicking on the order tab.
