gently on its peaceful waters undisturbed by choppy waves caused from fast-moving powerboats.

Paddle Notes: The reservoir is easily accessible off of Highway 89 and is an intriguing retreat for all levels of paddlers. The restriction on swimming, jet and waterskiing reduces the number of visitors to a small handful. The comfortable three hour paddle around the reservoir’s perimeter provides commanding views of colorful mountains and foothills clothed with pines. Thick stands of trees along the shoreline provide plenty of shady pullout access locations to relax upon for a spell. NOTE: Several areas of the reservoir had a growth of yellow algae along the shore.
